Renaissance St. Petersburg Baltic Hotel

The building's origin dates back to the 18th century, formerly a private residence of Mikhail Yakoviev, a college buddy of Alexander Pushkin, a famous Russian poet. Later the building changed hands and before the revolution it belonged to the famous wine merchant Henrich LePen who sold French and Spanish wine under the F. Raul name. After a complete reconstruction, in May 2008 the building was reopened as the Renaissance Baltic Hotel, being the 6th Marriott International establishment in Russia.
